Florabella
I have put together a
delicious array of large close up florals with punchy colours and intimate
detail.
We all see florals in
our every day life. But do we actually “see” them? Do we take the time to
admire each petal, to study the depth of colour, to consider the complexities
of each fold.
I doubt it… So much is missed.
Our lives are to busy
to stop and admire that which is right in front of us.
I am no saint, to much
is overlooked in my life as well. I move onto the next thing before I even stop
to appreciate what I’ve strived to achieve.
So this was my
challenge when painting Florabella.
To stop, appreciate,
admire and ‘smell the roses’ as they say.
The florals that I
have selected are some of my absolute favourites, they remind me of the good
that things life can offer.
It resonates optimism and passion.
It is my hope that you
love viewing them as much as I loved painting them.
